Trucha con jamón | Trout with jamón serrano


Morning cocinero! How are you? I’ve been with a cold these last days and didn’t have much energy to cook.  I just wanted to have something quick and easy to prepare. The solution? Trucha con jamón.

This Spanish recipe is just perfect: quick, easy and healthy. To be honest, in the original recipe you fry the stuffed trout, but baking it is a healthier option and, in my opinion, more tasteful.

Serves: 1-2 (you can eat the whole trout or share it)

Difficulty: I’m a pro peeling potatoes



1 rainbow trout

As much jamón serrano as you can put inside the trout



Put the trout in an oven tray.

Fill the inner space where the guts used to be with jamón serrano. 

Season with salt and pepper and bake at 200ºC for 25 minutes.

Serve and enjoy cocinero!
