Tortilla de patatas | Spanish omelet

 

Hi there cocinero! Today I bring you the recipe of one of your favorite Spanish tapas: tortilla de patatas (Spanish omelet). Cheap ingredients, easy to prepare and delicious, I love it!

INGREDIENTS

8 potatoes

6 eggs

1 onion (optional)

 

STEP BY STEP

Peel the potatoes and the onion.

Chop the potatoes and the onion. Using a food processor at this step helps 😉

Fry the potatoes and the onion until they have a golden color.

In a bowl crack and whisk the eggs and mix with the fried potatoes and onion. Make sure you remove the oil before!

Pour the mixture into a pan and cook over medium heat.

Flip it using a flat dish and cook on the other side. How much you cook it is up to you.
