Pulpo a la gallega | Galician-style octopus
Hi cocinero! It’s been a long time since the last recipe I uploaded but I hope you still want to stay by my side to cook some delicious Spanish treats. I’m coming back with one of the most iconic tapas of Spanish gastronomy: pulpo a la gallega (Galician-style octopus). It is an extremely easy recipe, you only need to know how to boil potatoes.
Hope you give it a go. I’m sure you’ll like it! See you next week cocinero❤
Serves: 2
Difficulty: I can light the stove
INGREDIENTS
300 g baby potatoes
200 g steamed octopus tentacles
Olive oil
Sweet paprika
Salt
STEP BY STEP
Boil the baby potatoes for 10 minutes. Depending on their size they might need a bit more. You can use a knife to check whether they are ready or still hard.
Peel the potatoes, and slice them. Slice the steamed octopus tentacles and place them on top of the potatoes.
Season with salt, sweet paprika and extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy cocinero!
I love this food, and I love galician-style octopus. In 2013 I was in a little town in Galicia, and I ate this food every day!!! =D Good recipe.
