Ensalada murciana | Murcia Salad


We are having a healthy recipe today! As you probably have guessed ensalada murciana is the most typical salad from Murcia region. You need only a few cheap and easy to find ingredients and it is ready in 10 minutes! I would say the key is to stick to use plum tomatoes instead of vine tomatoes, then add as much onion, tuna, egg and olives as you want.

Difficulty: I can light the stove



500 g plum tomatoes

200 g albacore tuna in olive oil

less than half an onion

2 eggs

Spanish or Greek black olives



Start boiling the eggs.

Chop the tomatoes.

Cut the onion into julienne strips.

Add the tuna.

Add the olives.

Peel, cut and add the egg.

Dress it with salt and olive oil and that’s all! Easy right? Enjoy cocinero!
